silencer the same as a muffler?
 
was just looking around, and saw someone mention a silencer.

i was just wondering if this is quieter than a regular muffler of if its just the same thing with a different name.

Also what is the quietest muffler out there for a .12 or .15 engine? and could i get a link to it....thanks

Silencer is the English word for the US word muffler. Don't know why we use the word, not like they ever make your exhaust silent!

why would u want to silence ur truck i what to make my LOUDER

but i cant find a decint tuned pipe

The composite (plastic) HPI pipe is reasonably quiet.

i would want it to be quiet so i can drive it around my house without pissing off my neighbors....and it will be for a rc10gt
