engine wont start?
 

i have a mt-2 charged everything glow plug is fine returned needle to bases settings any ideas?

1) Has your truck been broken in
2) does it crank
3) did you remove the oneway bearing and put it back in wrong
4) does it even act like it wants to start
5) is fuel getting to the carb
6) have you ever cleaned your air cleaner
7) do you know anyone that can tune an engine
8) does the fuel enter the carb (take aircleaner off blow into pressure tube)
9) are you sure the glowplug is good
10) how cold is it when your are trying to start it
11) did you try to warm the engine with a hair dryer before starting

Monkeh, perhaps you need to richen the High Speed Needle (big one coming from the carb.) Then, prime the engine some more.

Or, try opening the servo more.

IF when you're pulling the starter it makes a sound as if it's trying to start, for half a second (EG. *pull**vrooom...**pull**pull**pull*), then you need to richen it, and get more fuel to the carb.

And remember, richer setting never hurts as much as Lean would...
