See, above where he says "straight drop in", that means without having to buy other stuff,,Like a rear exhaust header..

The list could be forever long,,
Any .12-.18 side exhaust, standard shaft, rotory carb engine will drop in,,,do your own research/search

And p.s.,,,How many "xxx-nt kid"s do we have here??

I'm running an Orion Core stock motor in it now, with GP3300s and it's been seeing more action than my GT lately:P

RE: help???????

xxx-nt kid:
*edit* Try to listen to what i have to say. I understand you are just 13, but you have come to a place where adults and children mix to talk about their toys. We have rules in this place and most of them are unwritten. I am just as new to this place as you, but i have the experience of other places like this behind me.

When you make a new thread, try to make the title of the thread descriptive of the content of the thread.
Help?????? is not a good thread title. A better one would be:
Please do some motor research for me.

That way people who are interested in doing your research for you would be attracted to the thread, and people who wish to help someone who has a problem wouldn't

Also when you are creating a thread, try to make it unique. If the question has been asked before, and recently, and by you, people are less likely to answer it.

These are a couple of reasons why people like Frost are getting testy with you. They like to help folks with real problems. They don't like wasting time in a thread titled Help????? where no help is needed and the question has already been asked, multiple times, by you.

You are running the risk of being labeled a troll. Some people are likely avoiding your threads already just because they see you are the poster. More will do this unless you change your posting habits.
Tips:
Post only when you have something worthwhile to add to a thread. "yo shutup you freakin f@g " does not qualify.
Only start a new thread when you have a genuine question that you tried to find the answer to but couldn't, or if you have some new information or tip that doesn't fit within another thread's theme.

If you follow those two tips, you won't get people saying things like " I don't blame you... I wouldn't wanna be confused with him either... " and you may outgrow the reputation you already have.

Oh, and get the OS .12 CVR (X if you want pullstart) like you've been told, again and again.

RE: help???????

xxx-nt kid- why in the world would you wnat an engine that only has .552 of a hp and a max of 29,000 rpm?[:@]

the fantom fr12 is 1.25 hp and 42,700 rpm:D

spend a little more money and get some thing that is worth running in a xxx-nt

Jammin_Lee 02-08-2005 05:14 PM

RE: help???????

thank you german for the advice, and no i do not want a os cvr engine because they arent as powerful as other engines and i heard that my stock mach .15 could outrun one. i just havent seen an interest. i am sorry about the f@g thing and it wont happen again. ok back to the post i was looking in stormer hobbies and came across this and was wondering how nice this engine was, i also saw the above post about this but i would like to know more: rpm, and i would like for someone to tell me how fast you think this engine could make a xxx-nt go
and would this engine be a direct fit

RE: help???????

please, just buy it and be done with it.
I know i've asked this before...but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE would SOME people PLEASE describe what the link is about, instead of "what do you think of this? (insert generic rc related link here)"
I know that it's a Fantom engine...but i'm NOT going to click it. Yes, I have DSL, and a decent computer, But i'd like to keep less than 30 IE windows open at any given time, and I KNOW other people feel the same way.
if it's a side-exhaust FR12, it doesn't make THAT much more power than the .12CV-R. the CVR is underrated from the factory (like ALL OS engines) and the .12CV-R (X included) would slap your Mach 15 around like a silly ho.

all the cvrx has is the pullstart

Why do you Guys care?
if you don't want to help the kid just ignore his posts, what makes you feel it's your job to control other people and or the way they ask questions.

If you don't want to help just dont, but your bashing just hinders
You guys that feel you have to answer every post just crack me up.
If you think the guy is wasting your time, move on. You'll be a lot happier
