Nitro evader diff problem and tires?
 

Hi guys, they finally made an race track in abu dhabi
Now all i need are the right tires for my nitro evader... So the track is made out of soft sand/dirt, so what would the right rear tires be for this kind of track? I was thinking of the Gladiator II; Dirt Paw; Dirt Hawg II or the Dirt Works? If i buy any of these, can i fit them on the stock rims, by removing the old tires?

And i have a problem, to begin with, in the diff rebuild kits, the differential nut holder used to be made out of black nylon, but now, in the diff rebuild kits, they are made out of chromed metal. So, since i had to rebuild my diff, i did. But when i finished, i couldn't get the CV shafts to fit properly (talking about the CV shaft that gets in contact with the nut holder) so, do you guys have the same problem, or is it just me, and should i take my diff gear apart and rebuild it?

For soft surfaces usually the best race tires are step pins. Team Losi has them and also Pro-Line which has step pins as well as lug nuts which are similar but with a different lower step for better support of the top pin. The tires you mentioned are good all around, bashing type tires. They wouldn't work nearly as well on a track as step pins would. Before you drop the money on new tires I would take a trip to the track first to see what the fast guys are running. Also, just get new wheels with the new tires. That way, you don't have to use your racing tires for bashing and just add wear to them.

You need to insert the screw in the opposite end. The manual is backwards! That is why the nut holder is now made out of aluminum, because people would overtighten the screw - thinking they had to to make the CV shaft fit - damaging the plastic nut holder.

Thanks alot amsterdamn, man if i need your help again, ill pm you ok? (because i didnt really get the beckwards thing[:-], and since i have rebuilded my diff a couple of times with no problems untill now[:o]) :D

cool me to, my father is from holland..
well lets get back to the subject, i havn't got my digital camera's usb cable so i can't post pics, but i will, thursday or friday, showing you exactly what my problem is[:@]
I'll try to insert the screw the other way around and see if that is what i had to do[&:]
