I have the evader with a dynamite starter box. You can use the box and leave the pullstarter on just in case.

I have had starter boxes in the past, I still prefer the pull start.

Well since there is no non-pullstart back plates made for the dtx .18 he can run the pull-starter and the starter box that is what i did intill i got my new engine.

unless u are raicng i dontt see the reaosn to pay teh money for a starter box, the pull start is good especially if u like to wonder around and not carry boxes of metal and batteries with u on the way

just my 2 cents

Or maybe you'll get tired of having to be so gentle to those pull starts. Tired of having to rewind that string, just my 2 cents;).

I agree as all I run is pull starters some with over 5 gallons run throw them and so far I have never had a problem with a pull starter. I am sure sooner or later I will have something happen to one but if it is only every 10 or 15 gallons of fuel beats all I here about Roto and other starters I here people have problems with daily. All so much less to have to lug around.

I dont know about your bodies but on my gt, you have to take the body off to get to the pull start so not fun when it dies.
