Fuel Filter Question Part 2

I just purchased an inline fuel filter for my rc10gt and as I was getting ready to install it I noticed that there is a built in gold filter in the gas tank allready. Should I still install the line filter or is that overkill? The one that is built into the tank now looks similar to this one:

Thanks!

I don't really trust in-tank filters enough to run withought a secondary filter. I'm not sure how well that one filtrates, but to be safe I would use the in-line filter. Although it is your choice.

I personally like this kind:

It really works well. Just cut your fuel line, and connect it in between.

:)

He has one kind of like that, but he is debating if he is going to use it along with his stock, in-tank filter.

My friend with a gt says why bother with another once since the tank has one already. Right now, I'm not worried about it but in a few months, I might get one.

those are for metal fuel tanks... like control line planes lol. "Clunk tanks"

Thank you for the help!

And yes, rccars411 I realize those are for clunk tanks but I have one built into my RC10gt fuel tank that looks similar to it.

Thanks!
