evader problim fix

ok this is a problem with the evader (in my head if u just bash around and dont care dont worry about it) how the c hub and the rear hub carriers wiggle because of the little plastic bushing that sits between the a arm and rear hub knuckle doesn't take up enough space. well i know how to fix this problem i do not have pictures yet but i will have them to better understand how to fix this problem. trust me on this one it works realy well. i will have pictures soon.:D

ok i got the pics

the problem)the the washer doesn't take up the space need. and if the space isnt taken up it makes the wiggle witch isnt good.
the fix)
1) take one E clip off the hing pin and take one washer and set to side other do what u want we only need one
2) take some of your silicon fuel tubing and cut a little bigger with than the washer would take up
3) put the hing pin in and slide the fuel tubing over the pin then slide the knuckle and the original washer
4) reconnect E clip and reassemble and its done the wiggle is gone

if you need pic, or any more help please feel free to ask me or pm me this works:D
i want to here your comments

If you were worried about wiggle then the fuel tubing will do the same as it is flexible. Your best bet would be to get some washers and shim it instead.

RE: evader problim fix

no u put just alittle bigger than the bushing and it is flexible but when it comes that short it cant flex and yes it dose give some but its its defiantly better than those bushings
and if your asking y u still use one bushing it keeps the geometry of the rear end
:D

ya i know what shims are ya i get the idea but the fuel tubing works by it dosnt hurt the plastic a arm
it has give the shims if something happens it will break that why it works:D

Do you have one or two plastic washers there?
There is supposed to be two. Stock they come on either side of the hub, but they can be moved to both on front or both on back to change the wheel base.

They are part#58 in this image.

Using fuel tubing may prevent the hub from pivoting freely and may affect your handling.

RE: evader problim fix

nope cause the fuel tubing can twist and cause of whats it made out of it lets it slide on the plastic
if your worried about it the just take some o ring safe oil and put a drop there.
and yes there are two bushings and ya u use them to adjust the steering, but i came up with idea for people who bash around and light racing if your serious racers the u properly have a truck that is more race the evader is a good truck but the plastic and hubs loosen up and wiggle the fuel tubing fixes that and it has no resistance:D and it takes 5 min give it a try just make sure that u dont cut too much its just a hair wider than the bushing its self :D of u put too much then you will have the problem u stated

I jsut went and checked my hub and there is now side to side movement so i don't know why you have some?
