Draining Fuel after use....

I'm still a noob about this, but what are your routines for draining up the remaining fuel in the tank and engine? Do you just disconnect the fuel line near the carb and let it idle to get any gas out of the engine first, then what's the method for emptying the gas back into your bottle??? I forget...i haven't run my RC10GT yet and dont want to uuntil i fully know what i'm doing....thanks

if i havent finished the fuel in the tank, and not using it within a week, i disconnect the fuel tubing from the carb and plug it, then make the fuel reach the end and let it drain into kitchen tissue. thats if i have a bit left. iwouldnt put fuel back into the bottle (this is just me) cos it might have dirt or grit from the fuel tank and then contaminate the fuel in the bottle.

RE: Draining Fuel after use....

If I have fuel left in the tank after I'm done running for atleast a few days, I just empty the remaining fuel(I wont tell you where since I might have some cops at my door in the morning). Then stick the fuel line back on the carb and start the engine again. If the engine runs, then when it dies out, I start it again and run it until it no longer starts. The if it is going to be shelved for a while, I stick soome after-run oil in and crank it again.

i usually run the fuel out of the tank when im getting ready to put it up but if you dont want to then just pinch the line going to the carb till it dies then you will none in engine and the rest will be in tank..and dont forget to put after run oil in it when you are done for the day!
