I never understood why people always talk about winter storage!

I can't wait until it snows so I can burn some nitro and run my truck around. I only store my RC's when their broke. Just get some snow tires and run that thing man.

We just got 2" of snow today here in Wisconsin. I would love to get my savage out in the snow, but wouldn't that wear out my engine?

If you do run in the snow, make sure you go thru the waterproofing steps. Servos and receiver for sure.
I don't think this batch of snow is going to last, and I'm getting parts for my tranny on thu. or fri. If it's not bad weather this weekend, I plan on running in the backyard.
Bring whatever you drive out to Pennock and play.

Running in cold weather isn't any harder on an engine than running in warm weather if you get the correct operating temp. You may have to wrap the cooling head in tin foil tape or with a sock or something to retain heat.
As long as you can maintain operating temperature without running too lean, it'll work fine.

Those mashers make that evader look like a lowered MT. I like it.

I still have a rear wheel drive full size car, so I look forward to snow to drive in, but I hate shoveling, frozen ears/nose, sniffles, and putting on 7 layers of clothing just to go outside.
