difference between the MT1 and MT2?
 
I just got an MT2 and I had a MT1, I have no clue as to the difference or if this new one is even a MT2, I got it in a trade deal. I will probably get rid of it for a truck but I would love to know the difference. It has a new T .15 motor.

different moter, better schocks and better diffs.

Those where the main improvements from MT1 to MT2.

Yeah but loking at it is there a way to really tell which is which. Ionly have the MT2 here so I wanted to see if there way something i could see on it to know it was a MT@.. Thanks for you help.

The motor, MT1 had a .15FE the MT2 had the T .15!

yeah this one has the T.15 but its new and may not be the one that came on it, does the Mt2 have a Hpi racing slipper clutch setup on the spur and is this what the MT2 spur looks like

yes thats the MT2, the MT1 spur gear and shaft are 1 piece not seperate like they are on the MT2.

Mine looks like that...but I have the 18SS. Unde the HPI parts listing for the standard MT2....this is the part listed.

Yea, that slipper doesn't look like the one on my MT2 RTR either.

the spur is defenatly from the MT2 rather then the MT1, The previous owner could of upgraded the slipper. ASK him.

yeah I think it is the MT2 but either way I am getting rid of it. I like the bigger trucks, it is really nice and has a new motor and slipper clutch that I haven't put on it yet. But just not my thing really.
