Os engine for rustler

I would like to put an os or different engine in a rustler but don't know which one to get. I always heard that os are more reliable and hold a tune better then the traxass engine. What all would I have to change to make it work?

My dad's nitro sport has a brand new Dynamite .15 and it will do wheelies if he gets it to hook up. But then again O.S. engines are supposed to be one of the best for performance.

My bro has my OS .12 tz eb mod in his rustler, Its silly fast with all the low end torque one could ever need. The traxxas 2.5R engine is a good engine, its just that crappy plastic carb that is junk. Replace it with a OS .18 tm carb and the engine is great and will hold its tune all day.
The os tz will just drop right in, nothing to difficult. GL

A O.S .12CVR or a TZ will do just fine. I have a O.S .18CVR in my xxx-nt and that thing just down right hauls. I have a dynamite .15 and that thing doesnt even come close to compare to the power that a .18cvr has.

my xxxnt has the RB V12 in it and the front end stands up with the smallest squeze on the trigger. A good .12 will take a .18, the .12 are lighter and burn less fuel. For b-s around, burning fuel off for the *****s and kicks, go with the .18.
