Nitro Cleaner

Nitro cleaner smells exactly like automotive / motorcycle carburetor cleaner. Is it the same?

Probably. Just look on the bottle to see if it says if its safe in plastic, or anything else on the car. If it is try it out.

Some of the cheaper carburetor cleaner will leave residue like WD40 does. And the good carburetor cleaner might eat up your plastic or damage the electronics. To me, nitro cleaner doesnt smell nearly as volatile.

Congrats on first post Adam.[8D] Thats why you want to MAKE SURE it says safe with plastic. You shouldn't have to worry about electronics because you DON'T GET THEM WET unless sealed. If it doesn't say try it on something else first.

This is what I use and you get about 3 times as much for less. You can all so use denatured alcohol. I will probably go to that next as soon as I user up 4 bottles of Wild Cat I have.
