Eany, meny, miny, and mo?

I have decided truck and have narrowed it down to these;
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=SWK1150
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=SWK1155
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=HPI10441
How do they compair for handling, durability, parts availability (stock and hopups), ect?
I don't want a monstertruck because there to big, so I'm looking at 1/10-1/8th trucks buggies and truggies.
Is there anything else out there that's better than the ones I've picked? I don't have alot of money so when I get a truck, I want to get a good one and not have to be buying parts all the time. A friend of mine has 2 hpi trucks and is building a third but he doesn't know eanything about any others except traxxes and he doesn't like them. I won't be treating mine like he does though( he does alot of major thrashing), so I need some help.
Thanks
Shawn

The MT2 18SS is a great truck and is backed by HPI's great customer service...

Being 2 are buggies and 1 is a stadium truck it is like comparing oranges with apples! Are you going to race or bash? If you are going to race get one of the buggies if you are going to bash get the MT.

RE: Eany, meny, miny, and mo?

No raceing or bashing, (well maybe mild bashing, small jumps) just relaxing with the grandson while he plays with his truck. I do want some speed as I might race later on, because I've been told there is a club with a track close by.
Is there any other trucks that are as or more durable and have the parts availability as these? There are so many out there and so little time to look. Also I have no way to look in person and get a hands on opinion on any, as the LHS doesn't carry what I'm looking for. So I'm asking you guys what you have had luck with.
Thanks

If parts availibity is what you want I'd go with a T-Maxx or Revo, both excellent bashers and the Revo can be turned into a racer with some carbon fiber. They are also very durable and with some RPM a-Arms the become almost industrictable. I've decided I like the MT2 18SS better than the other two. I've been reading the reviews. Now after reading reviews, I'm leaning towards 1/8th scale because there' more parts available. I'm laening towards hpi and threw the Sportwerks out the window as they seem to be twards the lowerend. I don't know what else to compair HPI to because I don't know if the others are the cheeper lines or what. It seams you can't go buy price. I'm not even going to look at traxxes and I know they have alot of parts and there very popular in generial but I'm not your generial person. What about GS Racing, Mugen, Ofna, Thunder Tiger and Associated to name a fiew I've seen? How do they rate in quality?
Thanks
Shawn

Well this gramps is just as big of a kid. U C I have two air boats and I'm building two more with a fifth on the drawing bord and have plans to build a inbord boat. I also have two planes. Everything I have is nitro. So why change? The reason I'm asking is I have no other exposure to RC Cars & trucks other than a die hard basher that I work with. I don't count the cheeeeeeeep little elect. cars I bought from radio shack ten years ago, because if you broke them you threw them away.
Oh buy the way I'm not old enough to be a grandpa, I maried into a readymade famly. 32 is still yong enough to chase toys around even if there BIG BOYS TOYS. LOL

Im 34, whipper-snapper!!!! weres pomeroy? maybe get together. its hard not knowing the age of some people here. I dont want to be a creepy old man and meet up with some young kid and get my arse arrested or worse, confronted by angry father that thinks Im a pedophile. maybe a requirement of the profiles should be age?

idk stands for i dont know.

well mugen has little part support but hey, an mbx 5 is a great car, but for leisurely driving its a bit much. associated doesnt make a buggy that has been released yet and it doesnt and i believe hasnt ever made a 4wd satdium truck.

i would recommend either a hpi mt2 or the hot bodies lightning ( also hpi but a buggy ).
