Nitro Rustler mod changed handling...

so my n rusty used to flip over a lot and pop willies all the time. so i removed the rear battery holder/bumper and moved the battery pack up in between the receiver (now sideways) and the front shock tower to add some weight toward the front tires and away from the rear. but i have a new problem it seems. now it peels out and spins out under high throttle. b4 i could nail the throttle and be out but now theres no chance of that.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Got to get one of those / I thought it came with slipper clutches, if it did all you needed was to adjust the clutches [&:] if not your probably still in trouble for moving things because you screwed up the over and under [:o]

Try taking some pre load spacer5s out if you have any in, or softer spring, or maybe a softer shock oil. Maybe some new rear tires that grip better then the ones you have

What gearing you got? .15 or 2.5? Got any aluminum on it besides the bottom plate?

Anyway I did the same thing on my 2.5. except I put the pack inside my shock tower & zip tied it. I got the dirt hog tires on a full aluminum suspension with a-arms extended front & rear and a 1/4" longer. I got no troubles! I also run big bore shocks in the rear with a 7.2lb spring for a savage. I got the x-tra firm rear springs I had on the back & put them up front on a stock plastic shock. Some fine tuning and it should tear it up!

Try putting either the pack back where you found it then add weight or change to a higher gear ratio! If none of this works than keep your finger off the trigger.
