Engine issues
 

I have a .18TZ and it will start on the starter box but it will only run for about 5 sec after i take it off the starter box. The same goes with the glow plug starter, as soon as I remove it the engine dies. What settings do i need to change? I have it set exactly as the manual stats, the needle is all the way out, the carb is open 1mm and the fuel setting is open 2 turns. Any ideas?

Check your glow plug.

Thats the first thing I checked. It seems good. A couple times ive had to take the glow plug out and put the car on the start to get the excess fuel out of the chamber before it will start again so it seems to me that the engine is getting flooded. Ive tried closing the fuel valve some and got the same result.
