muffler

so i was out runinng my nitro sport today in my apartments drive way, i went flying of the curb at full throttle, and nocked the exit pipe off of my exhaust, it is louder now, but my question is will it still run right?

RE: muffler

where did you knock it off at? I've had it disconnect where the header meets the pipe (rubber boot), i just put it back on. But if you knocked it off anywhere else other than that, you may have an exhaust leak and it will make you lose some power...

If you are talking about the tuned pipe no it will not run properly with out it. Want to know more look here.

i think hes talking about the stinger i run my cvec pipes with out the stingers i don't have any problems outher than noise if its the whole pipe no fuel pressure to feed the engine

RE: muffler

Some actually run with out a pressurize line. If you read the links I posted you will see a stinger is best to have. Not saying it will not run with out it just run better with it. But what ever works for you. :D

RE: muffler

yes, i realize that with no muffler or pipe at all there is no back pressure to the fuel tank to give the engine fuel,

i was talking about the stinger, i had just forgotten the name of it is all
