I am pushing my budget on buying the rustler, and should i buy other parts to customize it or should i wait until parts break to buy new and better ones?

if its a rustler it will not break to easily if u r a beginer it is the best car to start with I have up graded the parts as they have broke only the exzorst when it melted but this happens to all nitro cars at one time or another so i bought a alaminium resonator for it no problem since
