hi ive just bought a new engine for my rush evo and i cant get the nut off the flywheel it just wont bind against anything so the nut just spins how do you get the flywheel off please help i want to run my new engine.

screw your clutch nut back on tight. hold the clutch nut tight with vice grips and now retreat the nut that is stuck

I never use vice grips or pliers.[:'(] What I use is a small strap wrench or a piston lock tool. As far as a puller I use a battery terminal puller you can get at an auto parts store for about $5.

$35 dollars for a $10 tool at your local automotive store. Kemp please stop posting useless stuff your waisting our time with your glue huffing ideas...

mate if you've bought a new engine and have no use for the old engine, use the black spanner you got with the car, insert it into the exhaust port in order to lock the piston. This might sound a bit drastic, however i've done it 3 or 4 times and there have been no ill effects to my engine... which is still going strong
