hi, i just broke in my jato today and i love it,i only had 1 problem, and that was the piston got stuck at the top, but the manual said this happens alot during break-in.Right now im on my 7th tank of fuel, is it normal to not be able to weelie yet? it might just be im running a little rich, but thats because im going to fine-tune tommorow, plz help

Yes its normal that you cant wheelie yet. Factory is set very rich. Once you get it tuned right it will wheelie all day long. Just be careful because if your doing 25-30mph, let off throttle than jam it wide open it will flip right over. If you really want to have fun with it get some 2.2 size wheels and some new tires. The stock tires are not good off road and they wear real quick on road.

I like to show the potential that the Jato has and to show its just not a road racer. When I say they should get new tires they can see waht Im talking about.

flying jato,

You should get rid of the rear aluminum shock tower if you dont want to replace tranny cases although you have the wing mount so I guess it wont break.

yes its the new era....I made a big mistake with them shock towers and piggyback shocks....I also had aluminum a-arms and some more...Actually the shock tower never caused me to brake the tranny case...Only the wing did But now i keep it a little loose and it has some play and won't break

twomanytoys that is an AWESOME Jato!!!! How do you have it set up? I just bought one and I am sure I will be mod'n it soon enough!!!!

hey guys lol u know im suprised with the jato afer almost 2 years of owning it i finally broke it lol well i was having radio trouble i dont see why but its with my spectrum so after all the abuse its takin even having een running around with a cracked arm after that long it takes off because it likes to get stuck at wot and hit a tree at probably 45 50 and im suprised that this is all that happened should be like $30 to fix aint that bad

o well its not letting me post the picts idk y so i guess ill just explain the left arm ripped off the right arm cracked all the way the shock retainer popped off thats about all that happened lol im impressed :D

a trees done that to me before :[, it jumped out at me when i was doing 40 and trashed my car :[.

i have yet to have in mailboxs, trees move in front of me yet. But i did have a parked car move in my way. No real damage thou...:D

I let my neighbor use my rc car and he hit sand which made him lose control at 55+ mph and the car spun out hit a 1/2 inch oak tree then went into a cart wheel and flipped 4 times.Lol. the only thing that happened is i got 1 small scratch on the body these cars take a beating i thought i was going to break an A-arm

Jato is a lot of fun. The mods just keep piling on for me. I will have to post some pictures after I put it back together after this weekends crash.
