The Diablo engines are great. Stormer hobbies has them on clearance real cheap. Can I ask why a .12 and not a .15?

Smaller engines have more rpm which gives you a faster engine and a bigger engine has more torque and less rpm normally which gives more bottom end and less mid to top end . 1.3 hp is pretty good for a .12 engine .

RE: Is this engine any good for a nitro evader st?

oh i see now!
lol
cuz my freinds .18 was smoking my other friends .32
lol
haha
so big number=bigger engine=less rpm=more power
small number-smaller engine-more rpm- less power

?

thanks

To a point yes , .32 are mainly truggy and monster truck engines . Naturally a smaller engine will get up and go quicker especially in a lighter truck .

RE: Is this engine any good for a nitro evader st?

but i would assume 1.3 hp is pretty good saying that my friends
.32 puts out like 4hp haha but i think 1.3 for a .12 is decent then :)
so thanks it should arrive by friday
but the actual nitro evader not til monday :(
o well lol
so im assuming it'd be faster than the stock dtx 18

how bout comparing it to the OS 18 cv-rx
cuz that what i WAS going to get

thanks

RE: Is this engine any good for a nitro evader st?

It will be a lot faster and stronger than the stock engine . Here is a comparison in the engines as like what I explained to you .

Peak - 1.3 hp and up to 42,700 rpms

OS 18 cv-rx - 1.3 hp and up to 32,000 rpms

Both have same hp but you will get more mid and top end with the Peak engine .

Peak and Fantom engines are very similar and I have a Fantom .12 and it screams . Fast engine and enough torque to pull wheelies on demand .
