pull start question
 

hey guys,
i have an RC10GT2, and have not beein running it much seeing as how it is 10 degress right now , but i tried running it yesterday and noticed something a little strange.
when you pull the pull starter, ya know how it makes that like RRRR noise? well when i pulle dmine, it felt like nothing was on the other end. it just felt like i was pulling on a string. but it was like it would do that, then 3 pulls would feel normal, than that, than normal. idk, it is hard to explain, but if someone even remotely comprehened this, can you let me know why you think it is doing that?

Hi, sound like the one way bearing needs some wd-40. take the pull start off and the bearing off and spray it.( just bearing) it gets fuel in it. and won't catch. good luck.

Hey jordan the problem is how cold it is outside. Try warming your rccar up on top of your real car's engine while it is running don't worry about the temps they dont get that hot at the top of the motor. Thats how we get ours started with a -40 wind chill here in Canada.

Lol I never thought of that Oliver. Anyway my step son had an RC10GT and me being spoiled by E-Z Start I wasnt gonna pull start that little thing I went out and bought him a Tiger Drive he drove it more after we put that on than before. Dont get me wrong not saying pull starts are bad but I really hate them. just my .02
