Ack!! Jato Problem!!

So here's the dilly,
I got the battery holder from the guy, Im excited! I plug it in, turn the car on then the receiver, wiggle the remote and...Absolutely nothing, no jitters no...nothing at all...WHHHYYY?!?!?!
Could it be the receiver or the remote?
I havent checked yet whether the receiver gets power from the on/off switch yet but I dont think that could go bad could it?...anyways...
HELP!!!

New batteries in remote? Your crystals in place firmly?

is it an aftermarket batter pack and reciever? if so could be plugged in backwards or your servos could be thats what i did when i got my hi-tecs ROFL then i was like DUH there backwards.
But like Blind said could be crappy crystals or dead batteries or different crystals????

same crystals, Dunno how tight in the thingies they are, Ill check that. and the batteries are freshly charged rechargeables..So I dont think that'd be the problem.
Ill check the crystals though, and also I cant put in the connecter backwards cause its got a little slot in it so you cant put it on any other direction.

The on/off switch is a notorious place for failure. I think most people wire in a deans connector in place of a switch. It's a cheap insurance policy against a runaway due to a 19 cent switch that can't hold up to the constant abuse.
