rustler problems

i have a nitro rustler 2.5 and im having a problem. i always have to apply the brakes to keep it from moving. like the engine engages even at an idle. its driving me crazy. and also im looking for a cool body for it. the stock one is so plain and ugly. does anyone know where they sell cool bodies for this thing at? thanks for everything!

Chances are your clutch spring has gone bad........thats the first place to look if your idle is low enough [:-] If you search the pro-line or HPI sites you will probably find a good body for your Rusty............if you want a custom job PM me and I'll give you a place to go ;)

Just adjust your sevo horn, or even easier, the throttle trim.

do you use the stock tq radio?if so is is set to 50/50 or 70/30 and like KpS said adjust your throttle trim and you should stop having problems

RE: rustler problems

adjusting trim is bad IMO cuz it means less brake or throttle. sounds like clutch or wore down brakes but my best bet is clutch like lynx said.

as he has said that means that his throttle trim is to high so if you set it so it has leveled out then it should not be a problem.for the clutch it's a possibility. and for good bodies try parma they are high quality and let you paint them how you would like it to look

yeah but just to make sure take off your servo horn and turn on the car and the remote then put the trim at zero then with the carb all the way closed put the servo horn back on and that should solve that.
