Nitro Evader ST steering issue.
Hello -
Recently bought a NEST and after plowing it into my neighbor's house foundation (don't ask) and fixing up the front end (also replaced the junk steering servo with a metal-gear servo), I've gone through 3 steering servo arms because they keep getting stripped. Any suggestions as to why? I'm not really beating the crap out of the car, just booting around in my backyard. Maybe it's the servo saver spring? Too tight? too loose? Suggestions? Thanks. |

If you used something other than the servo arms (horn) that came with the servo, chances are it really didn't fit............there are a bunch of different arms. [:o]

[:o] Hrmph. didn't even think about that. Been out of the RC world for a few years now, guess my logic is as rusty as my driving skills. I'll see if I can find a horn that came with the new servo that'll fit in the vader. Thanks! |
RE: Nitro Evader ST steering issue.
yeah i'd say the same thing but the same thing hapnd to me so i just put the old stripped ont back on and wrenched the crap out of it and it works fine now but as of right nwo i need a new servo, i hit a log going full speed on the left side and on ly broke the right side shock ball and the servo then i hit a tree at full speed with no steering and stripped the spur so theyre toush as nails
