no offense, but that's a silly idea

if you want a nitro, just buy a nitro

there are a great many reasons that won't work

umm, its rare I mean very rare you see a brushless to nitro converstion. Its almost always nitro to brushless, for less hassle and more acceleration and sometimes even more top speed. For nitro you need a alum. chassis for the heat of the motor, and a ton more upgrades due to the extra weight it will carry around.

Just curious, how would you do it?

But to the point, you're going to need a lot of stuff to convert it, so by the time you buy everything you'd probably save money just buying a nitro truck.

why not sell the electric and use the money to get a good rtr st:eek:.good chance if you convert then it's going to cost more money in parts then to just get a whole nitro vehicle plus my wrists hurt just thinking about all the wrenching that will be needed for it to work.just my opinion

the price will really add up, and it would be a hassle if you decided one weekend to run nitro, and then the next decide brushless...

you would need the aluminum chassis, the nitro gear box and all of it's internals, probably a different rear shock tower..

if you really wanted to get creative, buy a bare chassis, and all the different pieces, and build a custom nitro

good for you, projects are fun to have

as long as you understand that you are going to both spend more money and have a less capable/dependable RC than by just buying a nitro one

you will have the pride of trying to build it though, be sure to post pics

imo it is a waste of money, if I were you I would just go and buy the nitro and if you didn't want the vxl put it up on e-bay.
