Jato 3.3 sucks in grass. Getting hot?

I thought i could play around in the yard...it sucks in grass....

I was messin around with my new Jato 3.3 today.

I didnt keep any eye on the temp. and i checked it and it got up to 280 degrees. Can there be long term damage from that?

Also,is it bad for your engine to hammer the gas while it is setting at a stop?

it sucks on grass because it has street tires on it....................

it will be fine on grass if you put appropriate tires on it

You are prolly over reving the engine because the tires have no traction and are just spinning. When you rev these engines with no load. IE full throttle with no tires on the ground or very low traction that is very bad for the engien.

Nah. Just get some spike tires and cut the grass a bit lower, if you can.

if you plan on running mainly in grass, get moabs, the best (offroad) tire for that truck

280 isn't bad, might be on the warm side but it certainly isn't a fatal temp.
