Nitro rustler problem

Im trying to fix an older nitro rustler for a friend and I cannot get the engine to start. Ive changed the tubes, cleared the engine, and done every thing I could think of that usually gets mine going. Only thing I can think of is the engine is just bad. He bought it used and we got it going for a couple minutes but ever since we get nothing. Its a .15 motor and seems to have ok compression when turning the flywheel and if I have the plug on snug the ez start wont even turn. Anyone please help.

Take the cooling head off and manually spin the flywheel, does the piston go to the top of the sleeve? If so it has completely lost pinch and compression and thats why it wont start.
Are you guys priming the engine well? Try priming it until just when the fuel enters the carb nozzle and try starting it, if it wont go go crazy priming it and see what happens. Ive had engines that would flood and not start very easily and others than needed to be way overprimed. Do this and if still nothing check how far up the sleeve the piston goes! Good luck man!
