Nitro question!

What brand do you guys for nitro fuel. I need 20% but i don't know what brand to buy for my losi aftershock.

RE: Nitro question!

most the people here say O'Donnell
personally I use Traxxas topfuel but that was more out of what they had in stock when I ran out than preference. Seems they ALWAYS have topfuel in stock at my LHS but always run out of O'Donnell and the other brands when I need fuel. BTW most ppl say the traxxas fuel has wayyy too much oil in it and thats why most hate it.

RE: Nitro question!

I personally use Maxy's Fuel. IMO it is the best out there but many don't know about it. You can check out there web site.www.maxysfuel.com. If your LHS doesn't carry it then O'Donell is good. Blue Thunder is also decent. Those are my picks.

By the way Congrats on the AfterShock.

RE: Nitro question!

You can get Maxy's 20% for really cheap on amainhobbies. Losi Nitrotane, O'Donnell, Byron, Sidewinder, and Maxy's are all good. Just make sure it is under 14% oil.

RE: Nitro question!

Bluethunder is a decent fuel. I used it when I got out of racing for many years and have nothing negative to say about it. Now Maxy's on the other hand is just the ultimate in performance.

RE: Nitro question!

sorry to disagree syco, but i hate traxxas gas. the oil content is really inconsistent. at my local hobby store the pro there is all about eliminator. never had any problems running 20/14 although i haven't tried many types. but agreed, o'donnells is a pretty safe bet.

RE: Nitro question!

I would get something else than the Dynamite fuel. It has tons of synthetic and no castor oil which leads to not enough engine protection.

RE: Nitro question!

Well i got o'donnell racing fuel high performance 20% from my local hobby shop. Seem to be working fine in my truck. Friggin truck hauls ass with it too.
