nitro rustler battery box
 

i recently purchased my first nitro truck, a rustler and its great. the one thing i noted was that the quite often when the rear bumper/battery box took any amount of hit, sometimes really small, the batterys would cut out. also the body clips would be quickly destroyed and sometimes leaving the box hanging from the back of the car with the batterys hanging out. when i upgraded the body clips the side tabs of the case would brake off. so right now i have an integy aluminum battery case/wheelie bar ordered at the hobbie shop to hopefully bandade the problem. my question is has anyone heard about a mod that would place the battery case directly behind the front wheels? it seems that it wouldnt be to hard of a mod and would make the car a lot more balanced, i just havent found any and am not sure where to look. anybody know of any?

when i had my rustler all i did was put the battery pack in front of the front shock tower and zip tied it on and car didnt wheelie as much.

okay, i might give that a try, hopefully it will work out. i must say though, and aluminum upper chassis with that built up there would be awsome
