Ok, so since I got back into RC cars, I gotta say, that the strangest thing is going on...

I REALLY ENJOY PAINTING NEW BODIES!!

Now I don't get detailed with painting the design, I pretty much use a straight color, or mix colors and do the rest with stickers. Whether it's stickers that you apply to the outside or, the ones that I think is the coolest, the stickers from the inside that you paint over..
When I mix colors, I do it the cheezy way being that I don't have an airbrush yet, but I think I got a pretty good system down with the little cans... For example I'll put 2 really light, and mean REALLY LIGHT coat of like say Pearl White, then I'll pic something like Metallic Blue, put it on heavy, like as if it was the color I was using alone, then back it up with Backing Black, which I really recommend at the end of any paint job. Always use the "Backing Black" or Backing White", it puts a nice finishing touch to your body's color... The Blue-ish Gray T-Maxx I did for my son is done that way exactly, and with those colors and that T-Maxx is the end result of the mix... I thought it was pretty sweet..

Anyways, check them out and comment please, I can take critisism (I just can't spell it, LOL)

Oh, PS, another little detail I like to stick in is this nifty little black netting I Hot Glue (Very Carefully) to the openings I cut for airflow to cool down the Motor, I got it from Home Depot for like $5.00 for 10 SQ FT, anyway you'll see in the pics....

I usually finish up from start to finish in about 4 hrs. And thats with trimming stickers to my liking. I use a hairdyer to dry the paint as I go along..
