I'm going to be ordering a new body for the TMaxx and I was just wondering I could use just regular spray paint, or should I use some like Pactra RC spray paint? Thanks for any help.

Can I use a polycarbounate paint that isn't meant for RC specifically? Will that still work? Because i want to get some matte black paint.

unless painted on the outside the matte will not really show as the lexan body will still be gloss. or you can scotchbright the outside of the body. main problem with painting outside is it scratches easy. best way to do it would be spry black inside, scotchbright outside, paint outside too. that way if it scratches on the outside the black would still be backed on the inside.... doesnt show that much then. as regards paints, some people even used automotive paints on lexan bodies, just make sure to buy a paint adhesive promoter and paints which can stick to plastics mainly. adhesion promoter is a must though.

ok ok, misunderstanding. yes u can use the ps-55 . first shoot the colour u want on the inside as usual. cut the windows and headlights from the outside overspray protector and remove all but the cut parts. shoot the ps-55 on the outside. if u need harsher matte finish, shoot again. thats all. remove the overspray protection ant voila. sorry i forgot the ps-55 but ive never seen it at my lhs' so i kind of forgot all about it.
