Hello Peeps
Nice work as ever.
If you dont mind sharing how did you produce the blue colour on the first body, have you just sprayed the light blue very thinly with the airbrush or is there a trick to it ?
I love the face on the side of car3, ill have to try that some time.

Hello Peeps
No secrets...
Spray a VERY heavy coat of paint(in my case, metallic Blue).
Get a sheet of Saran Wrap and lay it flat on the wet area.
keep the wrimkles in the Saran Wrap..this gives it your texture.
Keep it on for about 2-4 min.
Peel away, and back it with black.
that's all.
enjoy!

[sm=biggrin.gif] Wow, Great work. I love the Stratus. I just got a new Cougar body that I was gonna paint like my own car, but after seeing your paintjobs I'm thinking all together different.[sm=idea.gif]

RE: Hello Peeps
very clean work.
i am just starting to paint some more myself.
been doing it for a living (not car bodys) for 10 years so it really throws me off doing everything in reverse. i am used to building everything up to a final layer.
with these cars you have to do top layers 1st and well that throws a kink in my designs normally.
i would love to see a photo scan of a step by step in achieving multiple layer patterns, that cross over one another if you ever have the time to document one.
thanks

RE: Hello Peeps
hell yeah, biomech love all the way.
my tattoo subject matter is mostly a mix between organic structure and biomech.
i am still taking these bodies very simple as i hate masking cutting and doing all the work in reverse is still screwing with my head.
i will check that link you posted see if i can find those break downs you mentioned.
thanks

RE: Hello Peeps
lol.. asian people paint good? damn it.. I need to get an airbrush and maybe my paint jobs would come out as good... I need one I'm still using rattle cans, which make the paint uneven, etc etc etc.. big pain.. and it drools left and right.. makes me disappointed.. out of the bodies I did, I had two disasters so far...
