uhhhh yea...i should have done 1 color...i screwd up horribly, pics will come soon (don't worry).

all i can say is, dont buy the cheap masking tape! it will leave a sticky globs after u take it off, also be careful when taking it off...

you used regular yellowy masking tape didnt you? use the blue painters stuff next time. sticks fine when you need it to but can be left on for days and comes off just fine. you could look at this body as practice for the next one.

For show, yea, it wont look to good, but if you use it just to bash or what not, no one is gonna notice small bleeds in the paint. All in all, its def not as bad as what I had imagined.

My suggestion would be.....next time try masking off on more of a flat surface. It looks like you masked right through the center of those humps. I would have probably masked it a lil bit more forward, like right along the door line. Just my .02 cents.

if its really bothering you, you could get some acetone(nail polish: but must say it has acetone in it) or denatured alcohol and just remove the part you messed up. then paint over that small strip you removed. if the place that you removed was straight(use masking tape as a guide) it should turn out just fine.

i have another question, it seemed that when i went to paint the body, i did the first coat, let it sit outside to dry and when i came back all this dust and dirt was all in the paint job! is there a way to make it so no dirt gets stuck on the drying paint of my truck?

just cover the body with a clean sheet, towel or plastic bag. the sun heating it up may even help it dry better.

I was expecting alot worse by thay you described that could even be fixed by a trim decal if you dont want to redo it.

If it makes you feel any better, I just screwed up a body too. I tried spraying some window tint for the first time and it went through the main colors and the white fluorescent cover coat I used. There is also no way to cover it. I also need to trim to body some more.

Just make sure that the masking tape is down firmly. I get a air dryer and heat up the tape a little to make it stick a little better. AS for the window tint just use black paint you have to use ALLOT of thick coats for it not to bleed through.
