Hi all,
On previous bodyshells , I have used custom colours spray paints , and they just do not stick to the shell , and the paint flakes off so easily ! [:@]

What would be the best polycarb paint to use ???

for spray paint - I think the only widly available choices are lexan paints by Pactra Racing Finish and Tamiya. For airbrush - pactra laquer, Spazstix, and faskolor or the choices of pros, createx art paint will also work.

I don't - I use air brush paints myself like Createx & Faskolor.

I did both of these with Pactra cans. The sedan is black backed with nothing and the truck is blue backed with Indy silver.

for an airbrush, what kind of pressure and mixture should i use with the pactra laquer paints? what thinner do i use and whats the best way to clean up? do the faskolor acrylics stick well to the polycarb? i used artist acrylic and it didnt stick nearly as well as the laquer. btw, gregor, you can achieve really cool looking paint jobs with the right masking techniques using only spray paints and a brush for details, as the pics in this thread show. i painted my first body this way and it had a night scheme with lightning, fire, and other trim markings. i wanted everything and it looked great. not as good as an airbrush job but it was good enough for a first time.

Hi, if i want to make a really good paint job on my protoform 1:10 body shell Would i have to use an air brush which i do not have or can i get it with just using spray cans.
