Sculpy might work, its a clay u mold and then bake in your oven, its not too heavy, and its esay to work with and paint, u can get it at any art store, like an ACmoore....just a thought

make them out of plastic. try to find some thick plexy glass or acrylic and use a dremel and a small file to get them to the right shape and then paint. or maybe try wood...use some toothpicks and sand them to the right shapes and CA them together and then paint. just some thoughts
