Default American Flag on Crowdpleazer body

I am starting a project of painting an American Flag on a Crowdpleazer 2.0 body for my LST truck. Please show me some pictures of your flag car bodies.

Well, that is pretty incredible. I am looking for something much simplier and using a Crowdpleazer body for my LST. You did a very nice job on yours.

It's not a Crowd Pleazer, but you get the idea!

I even scanned the template I sketeched up and placed in on the web here.

Is your body going to debut next weekend at Monkey Bottom perhaps?

Maybe so I if I can get it completed by then. Would this be EH by chance?
I will look up your templete and see if I can get it to work on Crowdpleazer body. I like how you did the curl in the flag.

Your sir are correct!

I like how you did the curl in the flag.
While I did the painting, and drew the template out by hand, I cannot claim credit for the original design. It was in an issue of RCCA from about 4-5 years ago. It's not as difficult as it looks, as long as you can handle an airbrush fairly well. It's looks incredible if pulled off correctly though.

The two following links should assist you some:
F-350
H2

I did a couple of the H2's, as the first didn't turn out so well. My son ran one on his T-Maxx for several months.

I'm hoping I will be there next Saturday, as long as I can dodge a family reunion with the in-laws. I believe the wife wants to skip it, which is fine by me. Shoot me a PM about the middle of next week and I'll let you know for sure. I'll be bringing an EZ-Up canopy for some shade, and you're more than welcome to set up under it.

Goofy_TXN,
I like the design. How did you tape it off? It looks like you would put the window masking down first then the stars, then the stripping for the white stripes and then the red stripes. I suppose you would then paint the blue first. Pull off the tape for the red stripes and paint the red, then pull off the stripe for the white and the stars and paint the whole bottom white. I will then back it all in silver since I like how that looks and I can paint the rollbars at the same time.
Please give me info on how you did it.

I did the stars first, taped off the blue and sprayed the candy blue---------->backed with sliver. Then taped the red stripes and painted candy red-------->backed with sliver. I pulled off the tapped stars and the rest of the stripes then backed with perl white. I did the rollbar last......
