Thats cool what you've done with your car. I have never even seen one of those. I'm kinda in the same boat. I have a 93 mazda mx-6 2.5 litre V6 24 valve dohc with a 5 speed. What I meant was does the paint company have a website. Also by any chance are you on gamespot because I think i have seen your x box before on there.

if you get a small dremel kit you can make the cuts around the wheel wells and were you cut it out for the exhaust alot smoother but other than that nice colour.hehe you were exited to take the pics hey you still got a screw driver in the wing

hey I think I looked at that site before a while ago. The Eclipse body is out of stock. Actually only 8 of the 190mm are in stock. Do you know anyone else that carries them. Its such a cool body.

I'll check e-bay but if theres no luck i'm getting the mazda.

I love the car and all but just not to flame you but on the exaust you need to smoothin the bumper out unstead of those boxes because lexan tears really easy at sharp turn cuts I would recommend you get some sand paper and smoothen them out before you body tears up I dont want your body to tear just right after all the hard work you put into it. good luck...

Hey man,we have a very similar taste in colors and cars...I did a blue one a year and a half ago as well and love it.We have the "GSX" badge in the same place,I guess they didn't expect you to fit it above the taillights so its gotta go under.I'm gonna order another one someday and put mirrors and headlights and all that fun stuff on it but for now I still drive it with that body....just yesterday actually.

I took it to a DSM meet Saturday and almost hit a CF lip on an Evo....time to put it away, haha.

Good job on the paint but as the others have mentioned, try to smooth out the exhaust cutouts and wheel wells...maybe with an X-Acto knife or Dremel.

Heres a link to my body,I'll post some current pictures of the shape its in now after a few good crashes.

The wheels are the stock HPI rs4 3 evo wheels. The tires are off of ebay, there just abs plastic drift tires.(they were cheap too)

The reason I painted the eclipse that color is I had a GSX that was about the same color and I killed it and just wanted to drive it again so I got the body. Also my car I have now is going to be painted that color when I finish the body work(hopefully this spring).

Edit....Also I crashed the Eclipse into a curb a month ago and still don't got all the parts to fix it. All I need is one grub screw and two e-clips. Here are the pics of the aftermath. over $45 in parts broke.

[X(][X(][X(] oh ouch!

Were you trying to hit the curb, lol. Imagine what it would look like if the little foam piece weren't there.

Does anyone know which body to get for the Team Losi XXX-S the 190mm or the 200mm.
Whats the difference.

This is what I found out that caused the crash. The front grub screw(locks the axel cup to the output shaft from the transmision in front) flew out and I lost the 4wheel drive and this happened while I was at high speed and turning. The lost of the 4WD caused it to go strait and thats where the curb was. The eclipse hit at a angle and fliped and slid upside down about three feet. The car hit so hard it knocked the crome off of three of the 4 wheels. The worst thing is I had a full tank of gas and the fuel tank cracked and it all leaked out(At $23 a gal. it made me cry)

dude[X(][X(]

Was it like the movies where everything went quiet and slow-mo. Then blam. You should build those safer (Steal And Foam Energy Reduction) barriers in front of the curbs. Well i'm sorry to here about your technical difficulty. You'll have to make a better eclipse body on your next try.

No I forgot my cam (the only time I didn't record a run and I crash) damn! I saw the car stop turning and slamed the brakes on but I was going to fast and it could not stop.

But its ok now its all fixed(frames still bent alittle) I think I'm going to stick with drifting for a while and abous my stadium truck and not my HPI.
Also I got a new body for the HPI and I haven't ran it yet because it looks so good.

My new project is my truck it needs a new body so I got one and now I just need to paint it. I'll post it when its done.
