hey everybody,
Im thinking of getting another body for my rc car, and i am lacking ideas. i want a japanese import with a simple but nice paintjob and with decal wishlists, but i need inspiration on colour, car, decal positions. I dont want to do anything with airbrush, just one or maybe two colours. so if u have any ideas which u can share with me it would be grately aprciated.

how about a plain black RX-7 with gold decals, and maybe just a few subtle bits of red
alternatively as the jap imports are quite common, why not try a tvr tuscan, the curves on this body would really look good with colour change paint and minimal decals.

I like the idea of color change paint. Simple but beautiful, and you wouldn't want too many decals to take away from the paint job. Maybe just a small decal on either door. I love the Spazstix blue/purple/red. It's here:

Here is a sample, my honda accord with alclad copper red/green with a smoking tyre effect, as you can see i forgot to save the paint for the wing lol.

WOW, they look very nice...thanks for the ideas, is there any special technique to get the effect with the special paint or do you just spray like normal paint?.

Claccytim, nice paint job! Really nice. You do just spray like normal spray paint. Very light first coat. Remember to spray multiple light coats vs. a few heavy coats.

Ive decided on a HPI- Nissan 350Z Nismo GT 200mm body with black hood, and Spaz stix gold/ green or green/ purple/teal. hope it turns out nice.
