I think I remember someone saying brake fluid works. Hopefully someone will confirm/deny this, I'm not 100% sure.

Hand sanitizer works awesome. I removed an entire paint scheme with some and repainted with norproblems.

Someone else just recently replied to a similar post and said you can scrape small areas off with the plastic end of a q-tip (or x-acto knife if you're more adventerous).

For plastic models I've always used Easy Off oven cleaner. I've heard brake fliud works too ad Castrol Super Clean.
