Acrylic Paint
I am trying to get as much info as possible before I paint my first body. I would like to use an original car paint colour for realism.
Can I use Acrylic paint supplied in a spray can from an Auto paint shop, as I can get the original car colour I need. Thanks!

RE: Acrylic Paint
Using improper paint (ie: not for use on polycarbonates) you will run the risk of the paint chipping off. If you are painting a body just for show, then it doesnt matter. If you plan on running the body, then I"d be looking at getting the proper paint.

RE: Acrylic Paint
Agreed. If you use non-compatible paint with polycarbonate/lexan, you will chip the paint. Non-compatible paint will not flex with the body and will instead crack. If you have an airbrush though, you are bound to be able to play around enough with different color mixes to match just about anything.
