Positioning body post holes

Can someone tell me what is the best way to do body post holes.I messed up the last body I had getting the holes in the right spots.I bought the Trinity no brainer body post markers but they don't fit on my T-maxx body posts.Any help would be appreciated.

put a dab of paint on the tops of the body posts. Position the body above the frame, the slowly bring it down into position. lift it straight up and there should be clear markings of where the body posts touched.

Do it when the body is still clear. Then you can mark from above. I use a grease pencil, a sharpie will do just as well. But that's how to marke for all your cutouts, engine, fuel tank, whatever. I first cut out all the wheel openings and excess material from the body.
