How do u get the most out of cans? The last body i painted turned out awful, and I dont have the time or money for airbrushing.
If it makes any difference, im going to paint an indy body

I've heard you gett much better results if you soak your cans in hot water before spraying. Also I dont know if you know this or not but make sure you do 3-4 light coats. Instead of 1 or 2 heavy coats.

the lighter you first coat the better you seal the edges of your masked surfaces.
the warm water thing works too, it gives you a much more finer and consistent mist, as there is more pressure in the can.
good luck!
if it does come out horrible, you can easily strip the paint with brake fluid, without fogging the body, it really works!
(do a search about brake fluid on the forum to fing out which kind to get, I forgot.)
