one more thing. i had one a long time ago but it was really cheap and i think i know why i never could get it to work. - how do you thin the paint because i always used testors model paint but it never sprayed out. i think it might have been too thick. thanks.

To thin the paint it depends what type you have. If it is acrylic based, you will use paint thinner on it. If it is a water based paint, you will use water to thin it out.
Many companies post on their sites or the bottle itself if the paint needs to be thinned. Also to paint on Lexan, may sure you are getting the proper paint. Using model paint like testors will not hold up to the Lexan body. One decent impact and you will see the paint crack.

Any airbrush by Badger or Passche should suit well. As stated above, be sure to get a dual action. You may also want to look for one with a larger needle as polycarbonate paint tends to be a bit thick such as Faskolor.
