Default need help with simple easy paint design ?

well i need to paint my matrix body , and i dont have a airbrush , so i will use hobbystore sprypait the lexan stuff . i want it to be just two colors becuse its easy and cheeap , i will only have to buy two cans . if you could give me some hints and basics on how to : paint a lexan lid ? Thanks

1:what do i use for masking ? willmasking tape work fine ?

2: is there templates for the windows ?

3:is there anywhere to download templtes of designs for 1/8 scale buggies . ?

masking tape will work fine, i prefer using liquid mask, but have done a few lids with nothing but tape...

2: is there templates for the windows ?
from my experience the window templates come with the body... depending on the brand you might have not recieved any...

for #3, well i normaly draw my own in paintshop so i really can't help you there

heres a question from me... what are good substitutes for liquid mask? if i use some low tac masking tape, will it work better if i e.g. blow a hairdryer on it to warm it up?
