Default Hand painting ornate shells

I'm thinking of doing two art piece shells. One a HPI Skyline and the other a Greddy Z. One style I was going to do is grafitti. The other I was thinking of recreating some kind of fine art painting. Maybe something kidn of van gogh. I dunno.Just thinking about it. I think I can figure out how to do it really nice using photoshop. I will simply do in layers then I can figure out the sequence of colors to do the reverse imagry on the shell. Anyone here have experience doing this kind of stuff?
