Default First body

There's a lot of really good paint jobs on here. Here's the new body I did for my Revo. It turned out alright - but it doesn't fit well without a lot of tinkering. Guess I'll have to order another couple or 10. =).

that's beautiful work for your first body...I wouldn't complain about that one bit! I think my first body must have had 47 colors and was about half an inch thick with paint by the time I had something I liked out of it. BTW a buddy of mine has a custom painted (by me ofcourse lol) 67 Chevy C10 pickup and both he and I have nitro pedes and I think he'd enjoy that body. Where did ya get it from and do you know if it'll fit the nitro pede? Thanks a lot man, keep up the good work

I think we got it from Tower Hobbies, it's a 72. It doesn't fit perfect on the 3.3 Revo chasis, it's a little short - but I'd think it'd probably fit just about anything with some tweaks. It wasn't too expensive to try out. I'm having a hard time tracking down a good full-size C-10 to turn into a project truck, so I figured a body for my Revo would pass the time. =).

Same here webexplored I like the 1970 Chevy shortbed, but I don't drive yet. With a little sharpie you can change the grill to resemble an earlier model. Here's my 1970 scale truck on a Tamiya TA-02 chassis.
