I'm wanting to do a College themed lid. Here are some of my choices.

http://dept.gatech.edu/adam/buzz/
http://www.sportsteamfanheaven.com/P...20Tattoos.html

I could also just use a vinyl decal on the outside.

Thanks

I recomend the vinyl decal. Ive never used a temp tatto even on my skin so I couldnt even tell you how they work. I have used decals and they seem to work good for me.

On the redbull I painted it white and everyhting else is decals on the outside. On the orange one I put the flames on the inside, painted it orange, then added more decals on the outside.

B-69,

So how did you apply the tattoo to the lexan? Do you apply the side with the paper to the lexan or the side that goes against the skin to the lexan?

the side that goes against the skin goes on the inside of body the only prob with temp tatts is that if the have writing on them the writing will be backwards but i put them on the inside of body so they dont scratch off when you crash apply them just as you would on your arm but on the inside of body

I tried using a temporary tattoo after seeing the pics on here. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out so good. Maybe you can tell me if I ddi something wrong. I applied the tattoo on the inside of the body (with the side that goes againste the skin against the inside of the body). The result was that you could see the tattoo perfectly on the inside of the body but it wasn't clear from the outside of the body. Do you have to use a special type of tattoo that is clear on both sides so that the image will be clear from the outside of the body?

did you take the overspray mask off to see if it was clear? That might be causing the problem.

Here are a couple of pics......they didn't turn out too good but I think you can see what I am talking about. The dark parts should all be black but they aren't.

No, it was actually alittle worse before I put any paint on it. The paint actually brought it out a little more.
