First you want to clear off the lexan. Make sure you remove that think clear layer of sheet plastic on the top.(If there is any, its to protect it from scratches.) Then if you using a spray can evenly spray along the whole body on the INSIDE OF THE BODY! Dont spray the outside! Then just let it dry and put on another coat, and just repeat this process until you can not see through the body but just all pink. Then you want to uses scissors, if you have the body cutting ones use them, and cut out the wheel wells and the extra junk along the outside of the body. Then if you want you can sand the edges to finish off the body to make it look real nice! Good Luck!

Couple of things....the clear film is not really to protect the body from scratches. It's an overspray film. Also to remember to back your paint as your final step.

Leave on the clear plastic film on top, hang it outside or in garage using straps, bungee cords, then spray the inside only and keep the can at least 6 inches away so it coats nicely and does not drip.

If you let your can of paint sit in a cup of hot water for 10 min it will help spray a finer mist and it wont be blochy

thanks, ya, if only panting a body went THAT FAST, lol, love the hair dryer, as for dual color, what are some good masking tips, is plain masking tape a good option??? cause my sis had a potential multi color idea, like, silver grill, silver tail bed, things like that????

3m painters tape from walmart works the best the blue kind
or liquid mask this makes it really easy to mask off harder shapes such as the grill you just apply 2 or 3 coats then trim off area to paint
