House Of Kolor paint on RC8 body
Here are some pics of my last body I painted. It's the original body for my RC8. I tried using House Of Kolor spary cans, and I think the results look great. The only thing I want to complain about is that the HOK paint doesn't seem to hold up as well as regular Pactra paint for lexan bodies. It doesn't peel or crack or flake off or anything, it adheres fine.
It just gets scratched up easily, and is not as resistant to chemicals/liquids/moisture. I don't know if it's the fuel, or the chemicals I've used to clean it, or if maybe I just put too many layers on in too short a time without letting the layers thoroughly dry, but when I wash it (with dawn dishsoap and warm water), The paint softens up, as if it was just freshly painted. Also, when I wipe the nitro grime off the inside, some paint comes off. As much as I like how this paint looks, I will probably not use it again. I'm not the best at masking, so when I was finished, I went over the color borders with silver pinstripe tape on the outside to hide it.

Yup. Supposedly it can be used for lexan. Says it right on the can. I'm not happy with it's durability ... But it sure looks sweet!!!

I use HOK all the time, probably painted 60-70 bodies with it. Did you back your paint with a sealer like faskote sealer? Every body needs to be backed with a sealer reguardless of paint brand being used.
