My first airbrush job!!!
Okay... Toying around with airbrushing... my fiance bought a kit off of ebay, inexpensive one, just to mess with... I have painted cars before, real cars you see on the road, not lexan bodies from the inside like. So far I love this turnout! I used a nice deep flourescent purple / navy flop sort of paint from PSE, on the JConcepts Illusion body... Mostly purple, black base, hood scoop black, purple dripping down onto the black, and what was a sad attempt at making a 3D drip turned out okay for my first time... Here are some photos, hope you like it!
Also, how I did the dripping design was... I took a drip that I modified in Photoshop... I made it the length of the car where I needed it... I then took the car and taped the drip pattern that I printed out inside the car, traced it on the outside protective plastic cover on the car and went from there... worked outstanding! I am going to do a similar project for her T-Maxx body (Pro Line) here soon!!
By the way... Nitro Rustler Pro .15 modified to a 2.5R, 2WD Stadium truck!

RE: My first airbrush job!!!
Thanks guys! I am working on a design for the Pro Line Crowd Pleazer (I think that's the body) for a T-Maxx this weekend... Ill post that one too, I learned a lot doing the first one and the few mistakes that I made I know now to correct so the T-Maxx should be a LOT nicer!
